Rising Day Ministries of the Lord’s Day Alliance seeks to create space in people’s lives to be transformed by God through reconnecting, renewing and reinvigorating them in the fullness of Sabbath delight and God’s Shalom. These practices are:
Our Vision
Addressing the spiritual fatigue, disconnection, and alienation of all generations by inspiring communities where Sabbath delight comes to life.
Equipping family and community relationships by offering new ways of celebrating the risen Christ that embody the mercy, peace, and holiness of the New Creation.
Reclaiming worship and Sabbath rest for all people.
Drawing on a wide variety of voices across Christian Traditions.
Our Leadership
Rising Day Ministries is led by a Board of Managers comprised of clergy and laity from Christian churches, including but not limited to Baptist, Catholic, Congregational, Episcopalian, Friends, Lutheran, Methodist, Non-Denominational, Orthodox, Presbyterian, and Reformed traditions. Encouragement and support is given to the Board of Managers by the Board of Elders and College of Advisors.
Currently, Lenore Tucker is President of the Board of Managers. David Scafide is Vice-President, Lauri Przybysz is Secretary and Jones Doughton is serving as Treasurer. John Hinkle is our former Board President. The Co-Directors who run the programming, communication and day-to-day for Rising Day Ministries are Larry Golemon and Joy Scafide.
